My life has been a roller coaster for the past year
Highs and lows and the road is bumpy up ahead
I swear I'm gonna do up a pros and cons list about combined schools + APAC/ Orientation man
But for the past few days, thanks to Fawwaz, everything has been brought to a standstill so I can just forget my worries and spend time with my friends
And he hasn't changed much man
Still the same old sick-in-the-mind-sometimes Fawwaz who we all grew up to love
And I'm really gonna enjoy the next few days coz Fawwaz's flight is delayed till next Thursday so there's time to spend with him!
On another note, I think I'm one hell of a procrastinator
But I can't procrastinate anymore on this

It's been a while since I last blogged
Oh wells, I've been busy and all, and I'm not even online much these days
But there has been a lot going on over the past couple of weeks

Oh wells, I'm barely coping with it though
Not enough sleep, resorting to sleeping at library during breaks when I'm not studying/doing tutorials
Alright so my mid-years now, I kinda think I did alright, and all those hours of mugging paid off(:
Even though not as good as De Kant, as long as I don't get suspended, I'm alright xD
But then I'm gonna work much much harder for my promos
I've got some ambitious targets, but I'll try to work my way towards it
Gaydog was like 'How come like that one?' when I told him my Physics and Chemistry results LOL
It was a bad thing fyi xD
But oh wells, I'm gonna work my hardest for promos starting now xD

I've learnt a lot of non-school stuff information for the past few weeks

I filed all the subject stuff, so now the stacks of paper in my file (and outside) are all gone
Everything is neat and tidy (except my study room table, I'll attack it in the next couple of days LOL)
On top of that, I did all the math assignments for all the topics which I haven't done yet
And I made a to-do list on each subject, like which topic i need to study (both mid-years and not mid-years), which notes I need to copy from others coz I missed out on the lecture due to floorball etc.
Andddd, I'm gonna paste the mid-years timetable on my study room wall xD

Problem is, I procrastinate too much at home, and my PSP, DS and laptop aren't helping me
I'm not even exercising!
I think I'll go to school every time I can now, coz there, I'll have no choice but to study xD
And I can go for runs or play floorball a bit to keep myself fit too during breaks(:

Entire day wasted
Literally slept through almost the entire day =/
Woke up twice - Once for lunch, Once for dinner
So I racked up definitely more than a dozen hours sleeping

Alright, our first A Div game was played just now and we won HCI 7-2(:

It was a weird start to the day
I found out this morning that my grandfather whom I never knew passed away some time last year

Today I realize how ruthless I can become when I'm angry
I freaking went to war with mosquitoes
For the past 2 nights, I've been waking up with mosquito bites all over my body, and that left me wondering how the sudden infestation came about
Then I walked into the room just now and saw a mosquito attacking my little brother
That was the last straw
I got ready for battle by wearing gloves and bringing a wet tissue and some dry tissues
I didn't want my hands to get dirty, so yeah, I slammed each mosquito I saw with my hands, cleaned the blood off with the wet tissue and dry the wet part with the dry tissues
In the end, I managed to take down 4 freaking mosquitoes
I'm not sure if there are any left, but if I wake up tomorrow with mosquito bites, I swear tomorrow would be war round 2 xD

On a lighter note, combined school trials went pretty okay?
38-40 people came, and at the end of the training, 8-10 people were told that they could come next week but they had to buck up, so yeah, hopefully I'll make top 30 at the next cut? xD
But really, I think the only reason I'm still there is coz I can dog people, coz I've been below par, LOL

Tomorrow shall be the start of a new chapter in my life
I want things to be the same as before
I shall try my best to make it so
I don't care if the awkwardness pulls me back

Camp is finally over!
Well, it was okay lah, the court trainings were more for tactical stuff
And whoa, the tactics can get really confusing, but I'm starting to get the hang of it xD
And we had our first taste of commando training, LOL
JB (Heard he's a commando himself, lol) took us for PT and he pushed us to the max for one hour, doing all sorts of push-ups, crunches, etc. MANY MANY times
And he made us run to the brick wall and back many times too
I don't know why but I started to feel the pain in my shin again when doing the PT stuff
And for the last part of the PT, I couldn't finish the 2 rounds we were supposed to run, coz my shin hurt like hell
To hell with shin splints lah
That time was really the time when my shin hurt the most EVER
Now I can't run -.-
It's partly a good thing coz I didn't have to run 8km just now xD
But then even with counterpain, playing in the MSVS Div 1 match just now was a struggle
Scored one goal though :D
Lost 5-9 though =/
And I kinda thought it was pretty respectable?
Seeing how good they are?
But Yan didn't let me play the last period coz of my shin splint):
Climbing stairs now also can feel pain =/
But seeing that a long rest is needed to recover from shin splints, and that there's no time to rest before A Div, hmmm....
Hopefully it won't last that long lah =/

Much in my life has been FML, but then what I really want is to forget everything and all the complications I'm facing right now and move back to the old VS days again, when everything was care-free

Wow, it's been a long time since I last blogged
Well, I've been really busy lately, reaching back home at night and all
And I've barely got time to do my homework and study!
Oh wells, this IS jc life after all
Plus, my commitment to floorball drains away my energy and time for studies
Speaking of floorball, we beat RJ 7-1 in a friendly yesterday! (:
Well, honestly, we kinda played like shit through the entire game except the last period
We played 4 instead of 3 periods and really, our performance in the first 3 was crap, including mine
Well, with the exception of our solid keepers, of course(:
RJ played rough, but we managed to come through in the end

Woke up late today coz I spent till 2am early this morning talking on msn xD
Went for religious class, then came back at 1 plus

I've really been finding it hard to blog over the past few days
JC life has been really hectic so far and I've been coming back late everyday
Trainings have been tiring, and A Div's not too far away
Lectures and tutorials have been a new lease of life in learning for me
Some easy too follow, others difficult due to erm, distracting teachers who can act as the opposite sex too xD
But really, all these have been filling up my schedule and I've got no time for unwinding
I've taken like, 10 panadols or so over the last few days coz my brain's been banging with headaches and all due to insufficient sleep
4 + 4 + 6 hours for the past 3 nights just to study and complete my homework like some machine
But I shall continue with this life
I shall persevere! xD
After all, I've been given a chance to prove myself in VJC by the virtue that I can play floorball and I don't want to disappoint the people that gave me that place(:
So I'm not gonna slack in these 2 years and I'm gonna play floorball and mug everyday like some freaking machine and ace my As to put the disappointment of Os behind me xD
Well, that's a tall order but I'll definitely try my very best to contribute to VJC's value-add xD

Sorry guys, for neglecting my blog for the past few days, but I've been really busy with orientation and trainings
So I guess I owe everyone an update, haha
VJC orientation has ended and it has been nothing short of A-W-E-S-O-M-E! (: (: (:
Seriously, I had a great OG and sub OG in Ryphon 4!
Well, we might have dropped from 3rd to 7th in the last day, but the point is, we did have fun right?
Who knows, maybe they counted our points wrongly xD
But seriously, I think VJ Spearca 2010 was a really well-planned event which thoroughly impressed me
On top of that, class orientation was brilliant too!(:

My class is really sociable to me and we're bonding quite fast(:
I remember walking in with Ernest and Rachel's group said 'HI!' then we were stunned then said 'Err... HI' HAHAHA

And yup, we did VS cheers a lot, and we did some beside Cedar's xD
But the thing is, even when we were cheering our respective secondary school's cheers, when one person put that Spiderman handsign up, everyone followed and we cheered as one united VJC(:
I'm gonna miss not doing the Spelling cheer and the original version of VS Unite as much as I did though):
So yeah, my life HAS changed over the past week and I'll list out 10 random facts(:

1) I've gained many many new friends(: But at the same time, missing my brothers): Let's come back to VS for SLI on 8 Feb! xD

2) I've been like, seriously freaking high over the past week, especially during mass dance xD

3) I can feel my dragshot becoming better! All thanks to my new Bow xD

4) All this time I've been doing lesser sit ups as I age for Napha tests and I thought it was normal. But BOOM, I did 63 in 1 minute when I took my Napha on Wednesday and even I was surprised by it xD

5) Looks up ^^ I pulled a muscle in my LEG while doing those sit ups -.- WTH

6) OMG! I clocked 8 min 58s for my 2.4km run(: First time under 9 min xD I guess I really inherited my dad's genes(: Hahaha

7) My Civics tutor seems nice!(: She treated us to ice-cream(: Hahaha

8) RYPHON IS IMBAAAA! HAHA. At Suntec, we were like, pointing to the sky as one group so many people looked up to the sky too. Then we say got thunder coz Ryphon's about thunder and all and we were really random and all and now I don't see the point in typing this, lol

9) Ok lah, I reserve one slot for my floorball seniors xD They're a bunch of imba people who are sociable!(: I swear Jeremy's one heck of a funny guy! Hahaha. And I won him $1 from Augustine coz I beat Eugene in my 2.4km run xD

Where there wasn't a day I didn't spent at least some time at Costa Sands Pasir Ris xD

I'm glad that the whole idea came to fruition, compared to all the ideas about going on camps with tents and all xD
The time I spent with my friends really made my bond stronger with them, especially since most of us are going on separate ways in JC/Poly
But whatever it is, my memories in secondary school life are the bestest I'll ever have(:
So, moving on, played against Pasirian Pirates yesterday and lost 2-5):
Not the kind of reunion I was hoping for, but still, we did try our best!
Bagged a goal and an assist, but kinda frustrated with myself that I didn't do enough to help the team prevent the scoreline
And so we succumbed to our first defeat in 3 games!
Grrrr, we lost to Hamzah but a consolation is that he didn't score against us
Hahaha xD
And by the way, I didn't tell Irah stories about the match so you don't have to worry about telling her not to believe my 'stories' ;D HAHA
And I don't want to play in the centre!!!
I want to play as a forward!):
Anyways, yeah, had cousin's chalet after that and it was kinda fun too!(:

And guess what?
I thought madrasah started at 1pm so I went home from the chalet at 12.30pm
Then my mum went 'Eh! Tak pergi madrasah eh!'
Then I stoned there for a while before realising that my madrasah timing this year is at 11am!

Well, last year's timing was at 1pm and I guess I haven't settled in the 2010 mindset yet so not my fault =P
So yeah, played some soccer just now and now my throat's like, itchy though there's no link to that and soccer
I think I'm getting sore throat!

Alright, a short update here!
I don't think I'll be updating in a few days coz I'll be at chalet(s)!
I slept at the chalet on Monday but I came back home last night
Now our memberz chalet's gonna start today!
Which means another 2 night sleeping outside xD
Then I'll spend my night at home on Friday, where there'll be a floorball match the next day!
There's also this VJ floorball farewell batch of 09 on Saturday which I'm invited to on fb :O
But i don't think I'm going for it, haha
Then I'll have another chalet that night!
This time it's my cousin's chalet! (:
Yet another night outside, I guess xD
And finally, Sunday comes when all the plans are over and I'll be dead tired by then
Madrasah on that day?
I'll see my mood if I wanna go or not xD

Expectations left unachieved
No, I wasn't aiming for a 6, and I really hate that 'confirm 6 points' tag I've been burdened with
It's just plain stupid
I knew I wouldn't get a 6, and who listened to me?
No one, no freaking one
In the end, I was way off their 'expectations', while I missed my target by one point
Why?
Just one word - English
Stupid English
I just can't understand how everyone's scoring a distinction in English while I'm left with a B3 alone
Yes, I know some were worse off than me, and I do feel bad for them, especially my two close friends, you know who you are
I guess life just sucks sometimes right?
But that's the whole point of life
Sometimes reality smacks you right in the face but we've gotta pick ourselves right up and that's what we gotta do
But goodbye VJC by merit
Yes, I know some people say I'm assured of a place through sports appeal, something that others who got the same results as me don't
But then if I did go to VJC, I'll be one of the lowest-ranked students there
Can I cope?
I don't know
After all, I did crumble under pressure this year
I guess I peaked too early
Maybe I did regret doing relatively well for my Sec 3s and 4s, only to be burdened with this 'expectations' tag
I'm not smart, I have to work hard to be smart
Maybe I should have flunked my previous exams so I can go through this O-Levels pressure-free
But I guess what's done is done
I do crumble under pressure, that's why I'm considering MJC too, coz I think I can more than cope with life there, compared to the pressures I'll face at VJC
But who knows?
Still, in the end, no matter what people say, I see my O-Level results as more of a disappointment that I can't erase, but whatever JC I'm gonna be in, I hope I can do well in my As(:

OMG!
2 DAYS!
Eagerly anticipating it, but at the same time, very nervous, haha
And the clock's really ticking down

First Div 3 match today!(:
Against Victoria School Warriors, made up of the juniors
We won 15-3, but they did put up a great fight, especially in the first 2 periods
And I did play suckishly in the first 2 periods, running around like some crazy guy into open spaces but no one passing to me -.-
But suddenly we were galvanised in that last period and scored 8 goals, and I scored 2 of them!(:
One was practically the last touch of the game coz the final whistle was blown straight after face-off xD
So I guess the last period wasn't so bad for me, haha
And Clement's the top scorer so far!
But he wasn't sure if he scored 3 or 4 goals, LOL!
Matthew played great too, and could have had a hat-trick if the referee saw his shot bounce out the inside of the goal! Hahaha
But it was a great team effort from us too!(:
Wait till the Raffles-ians come xD

One word- SHAGGED
I'm like sooo freaking tired right now
Didn't sleep last night coz of a chalet!
Then I went home early this morning, but proceeded to Saufi's house afterwards, to meet up with Saufi, Fawwaz and Hamzah
Met up with Haziq and Luqman and at Tampines interchange, and we headed over to TP open house after that
It was fairly alright?
Though I only went to tag along with the guys who wanted to see what TP was like
Got free Nestcafe tau xD
And also this free sling bag, which Hamzah and I wanted to bring home, but both of us somehow lost it in the events that followed xD
So we prayed after that, and went over to Kallang Leisure Park after meeting some of the Cedarians plus Taufiq and Shabeer to bowl
That was when Hamzah and I had to part ways with the group coz we had floorball training
We initially didn't know how to find our way to VJ coz we couldn't find the 31 stop
And Aisyah suggested we take 11, then switch to 31
So we were in a dilemma and was afraid of getting lost
But then when we arrived at the bus stop, we realised that 16 went to VJ -.-
Thus, 16 we took, and a while later, we found ourselves at VJ xD
And so the distance to run was increased to 8km now, and so we had to FREAKING RUN 8KM, FROM VJ TO BEDOK JETTY AND BACK AGAIN
Damn tiring seh, but did well, i guess?
While we were running our asses off, SOMEBODY was 'injured' and couldn't come training right?
You know who you are ;D
RABAK! HAHAHAHA xD
So after that run, we rested and waited for like 1 hour for Yan to come, but we've already started court training by then
Combined training with the girls, with some drills mixed and all
Hamzah loved it right? ;D HAHA
But then the matches part was one of the best my line has ever played! Seriously!
There was a line change after every goal, and we came in 7 times, winning all 7 times!
Hamzah was on some hot streak at first *impressing the girls* xD, scoring in the first 3 games, then I scored in the next 2 and Augustine scored in the final 2
Charlton played well too! Haha
But in the end, we won 11-1!
And that resulted in 200 jumping jacks as forfeit for the other team xD
Did some tough strengthening exercises after that and finally training was over!

Bathed, and then headed home(:

I need a new floorball stick as soon as possible!
My shooting's been off lately and the grip's ancient
I wanna get one asap!
So I guess I'm gonna try to borrow like $100 from my mum and coz she'll sponsor $100 for my stick, I'll have a $200 budget, which should be good enough to buy some imba stick xD
And once I get my money, I'll pay her back!
But i need some convincing to do

Yup, it's that time of the year again
The time when everyone looks back on what they have done for the past year and reflect on it
The good and bad stuff, all locked up in the head as memories
Memories that will come to light when you think of the year 2009
And people would see their flaws in the past year, or years in fact
And they'll try to work on them, to right the wrongs
To come up with New Year resolutions
And they'll strive to achieve those aims they stated,
Aims they might not have fulfilled in the past year
But fear not, coz a new year's a new start
A chance for everyone to start afresh
To flip the page of that book and ready to write the first few words of a new chapter in life
A new beginning, one that hopefully ends in a happy ending
For me, it'll be a different start than those in the past 4 years
It's a new totally different school for me
A REAL chance for me, and everyone born in the year of 1993 to start on a fresh note
New school
New friends
New gender in class xD
But hey, it's all for the experience right?
I've drawn up a list of New Year's resolutions for myself, and I must admit, some of them are a bit lame coz they aren't things that can be achieved by working hard over the coming year, but rather just a day or a match, to achieve personal satisfaction, just like my first point xD

1) Beat Bukit Merah Sec in friendly this Saturday. Well, I've never quite gotten over that loss, having shed tears over it, and I don't think I ever will. Though achieving this aim won't heal all the wounds, at least it would help me gain a bit of satisfaction, haha

2) Start saving money again, since I've lost my 'saving money' touch over the 2nd part of 2009 xD

3) Make no enemies, just friends. Loved and liked, but not hated and despised. Hopefully

4) Don't get swamped by the JC syllabus and getting good grades for exams

5) Be there more for my friends

6) Don't lose contact with my secondary school friends. Hari Raya 2010, guys? We never had one in 2009 D:

7) Win floorball A Division championships this year

8) Be fitter than I've ever been, under rigorous floorball physical exercises

9) Doing all my homework at home and on time

10) Get a new phone using my own money

They're just 10 of many
Of course I'll have many
It's a new year right?
And so to all of those reading this post, you've just read my very last post of 2009
May I wish you all the best in achieving all that you aim for in the coming year, 2010

Luqman organized something today! xD
Now that's a first, haha
Well, he kinda planned for all of us to meet at Simpang Bedok at 4.15
So me, Luqman and Saufi were around 10 min late or so
But no worries, coz the next to come were Ziyad and Fawwaz at 5!
Wahhh, waited so long xD
So yeah, we ate there, and went to Taufik's house to pray afterwards
Luqman didn't really plan what to do after that
So we decided to just hang around at the airport
We wanted to slack at T3's viewing mall, but after some wayward sense of direction, we went to T2's Macs instead xD
So yeah, we spent quite some time at Macs, where we talked and caught up with each other
Luqman brought a camera!
So Hafidz couldn't stop himself from camwhoring
Well, actually everyone did xD
Took loads of pictures, especially on the way to the bus terminal, where we took pictures at weird places
Buttt it's Luqman's camera!
So I guess we'll have to wait a while before getting those pics coz Luqman doesn't go online often!
He got quite a lot of stick for that just now xD

Wow, it's been some time since I last posted
So I'll have this short update xD
(The following 2 paragraphs was copy and pasted from Ziyad's blog xD)
(Well, not totally coz I changed the 'i' to 'Ziyad' xD)

Yesterday, Saufi, Izzat, Haziq, Luqman, Azmi, Hafidzhin, Wisnuh, Taufik, Farhan, Dzafir, Afi and Ziyad started on a little overnight cycling expedition that began at about 9.15pm.

Saufi had to leave when we got to Changi because he was gonna catch a 1am movie with his family. (Cool or what??)

How did it go?
Welllll, let's say it was an unforgettable experience

It's sad that my 300th post has to be about this
The Man Utd vs Fulham game just ended
And to say that I'm freaking disappointed is an understatement
It's the first game this season in which I really felt that they didn't deserve to take anything out of the game
They played lousily, misplaced passes here and there
Fine, I must admit, they lost coz of their injury problems, having to play two central midfielders as the central defensive pairing, but I must say that I expected more of a fight
Damn, what kind of luck is this?
Having many many defenders out injured
Totally regrettable but unavoidable
I'm really confident that if they didn't have this jinx, it'll be at least 4 points out of 6 for the past two games instead of 0
The African Nations Cup?
Nah, it won't make much of a difference
Coz yeah, Chelsea will drop points in the African Nations Cup, but what's the point coz Man Utd's gonna continue dropping points in the next few games coz of this stupid injury list?
Arsenal's nothing without Van Persie and Liverpool's got no hope of winning the EPL
So barring that Man Utd collect maximum points for the next few games despite the injury list and that Chelsea undergo some crazy self-destruct sequence, though I'm a die-hard Man Utd fan, I have to admit, only a miracle will stop Chelsea from winning the EPL this season

Hello guys!
I'm freaking tired right now
Like, seriously, first time I went for VJC training and it just had to be physical training -.-
Alright, so I woke up at 6.30 coz I overslept, so i was rushing to VJC
So yeah, we had to run 10 rounds around the track for warm up, and that's 4km
And the training focused on movement, drop passes here and there so there was a lot of running
And both keepers didn't come!
So we trained without keepers -.-
After training, we had some more physical exercises like pull-ups, bridges, etc.
We had to do 21 pull-ups, so I did that in a few sets
And so Hamzah stood there watching everyone do but in the end, he didn't do a single pull-up!
Rabak! Pemalas sehhh! Hahaha
Anyways, I was freaking tired after that so I went home and sleep
Woke up in the evening and went downstairs to play soccer(:
Damn tiring and dizzy, so I took a couple of panadols before going down, haha
Finished, went home, watched my favourite Korean drama(:
Now I'm damn tired and I want to sleep
Buttt I shall stay up, for the sake of Man Utd! xD
P.S. Haziq and Hamzah blogged about this, so I think I'll just do it too xD

I thought I was going to miss Singapore Idol this week

There was this game when Fawwaz decided to be crazy and deploy 5 strikers and 3 defenders when he played against Saufi
In the end, he only managed 4 shots, two of which were on target
LOL! He said he'd score one goal with each striker but he had more shots than the number of strikers he has!
Now that's a laugh! HAHA
But the thing is, HE ACTUALLY WON 1-0!
LOL
I guess he had luck there but also non-stop complaining about how he was giving away non-existent fouls, HAHA xD
